Forrest's passion for helping people in crisis comes from his own personal experience. He knows exactly what it takes. "Getting sober is one of the hardest things you'll ever do. My addiction led me down paths I would never have imagined." Successfully in recovery since 2016, he lives with no regrets today. Tough times result in hard lessons. Those lessons included showing him a path to helping others with similar struggles. "Addiction doesn't just destroy the person addicted, it destroys entire families." Forrest credits his family for never giving up on him and remains eternally grateful they never lost faith in his ability to recover.
His journey from addiction to recovery has caused Forrest to completely dedicate himself to helping guide others to accomplish long-term sobriety. To coin an overused phrase, "Paying it forward by helping everyone I can along the way has become my life's passion."
In 2017, Forrest transitioned into the field of substance abuse and mental health treatment. Since then, he has served as a behavioral health technician, admissions coordinator, outreach coordinator, treatment planner, peer support specialist, and ultimately as an interventionist helping individuals and families afflicted with the disease of addiction.
"I look forward to working with you for as long as it takes to make the journey to successful, long-term sobriety." Together we can do this.
